95 civic auto2man swap and 96 civic man2auto swap NOTES
just a little FYI. when doing a man2auto swap on a 95 civic, you can use OEM auto rear engine bushing that fits with the rear engine bracket. you also can MAKE DUE with not using the passenger side top mount.
in the 96 civic, you can do the same thing. use the OEM rear engine bracket mount, and not use the passenger side top mount.
for the man2auto swap, you dont have to connect the kickdown cable, or the lockup solinoids. the trans will work fine without them. just jump the clutch switch (its the yellow one) and the computer will think the clutch is always engaged and you can start the car.
i know this cause i just got done swapping my 95 dx to a stick and my buddies 96 lx to the auto the i used to have. why not just trade pinks you ask? cause i didnt want a 4 door sedan my car, my choice.. let me know what you think..
mod's is there anyway to add this info to the auto2man already in the FAQ?
