ok so stunter and me pulled and droped an engine this weekend..we took out a blown ls/vtec and put in a gsr engine..the gsr engine came with a after market fuel rail and injectors..on the wiring harness the clips would not fit..so we took the injectors from the old fuel rail and put it on the after market one..the engine started..but would only idle at like 500, when we drove it..it would only go to 2000 rpms....also i noticed a leak on one of the injectors..so here are my questions..please help if you know
1. if we had a wirng harness(obd1) that worked on a ls/gsr vtec, will it work on a gsr engine.
2. if changing out the injectors form the stock gsr injectors on to an after market fuel rail make it idle only at 500 rpmsand drive only at 2000
3. if it is a gsr engine would i still need to put the golden eagle kit on there..
and we are running a p28 ecu
