Hi, I bought this car, and have no idea what happend to it. Its not in bad shape, but obviously had damage bad enough to set off the bags. The core support is pushed in about 1/2 in or less, so it wasn't too bad, but still...

I've replaced the air bags, and had Myairbags.com reset the SRS unit. I followed the instructions when I replaced it.

I put it all back together, and yet the light wont go out!!

I tried http://www.myairbags.com/Reset/HondaReset.html this, but the light NEVER goes out!!

Then I looked for the ODB connector, but I didn't think a 94 would have one, so now I'm stuck!

How do I check the sensors, as they are the only things left?

Well, myairbags.com says it should work, but it dosen't

How can I test the sensors? I can get to the harness at the SRS unit, anyone know the pins and the resistance to check??

airbags are controversial, they dont always protect people in accidents.

just unplug at the back of the cluster, problem solved

If someone could tell me where the sensors are, I'd be grateful.. Or what pin # to check on the harness to see if they are in spec, and what IS spec #s anyway?

honestly if the main unit works enough to set off the air bags and you put new airbags in there should be no reason why it shouldn't work.

i would assume it works and take the light out if it's bothering you that much

Same with mine, mine is always on and I have absolutely no way of figuring it out. Im lost with this also. BUMP for an answer

But I have no idea what the service connector is lol.. Is it above the computer, or the same wire you read check engine codes? I'll look tomorrow under there, but I didn't think that was on the SRS harness.. I've been trying to reset it with the MES connector from http://www.myairbags.com/Reset/HondaReset.html

IF these are the same, thats great, but it dosen't blink or anything EVER when I cross the wires..

And Brute, its controled by a computer, to be sure it dosen't set itself off unintentionally. So, yes I did replace the parts, and it SHOULD work, but I still need to reset the computer to let it know that everything is working. Thats the whole problem i'm having..

From what myairbags said, it's in or around the fuse box. In my EK its above the ECU. I don't think you check it from the OBD port.

Well, using the exact plug on the link from Myairbags, I get NOTHING, NADA, ZIP! lol

And there is no ODB port so, I dont know.. All it does is look at me like HAL...

I got the SRS unit and harness from the car that had the airbags, so I'm gonna try that tomorrow.

well, i put in the SRS unit from a friends car, and guess what??

IT WORKED!!

So now I am talking to Myairbags.com to see what they will do about it.

I either want my money back, or them to fix mine right!!

Thanks, they claim a 100% guarentee, but who knows.. At least I went thru paypal, so if they give me a problem, PP will step in.
