94 Hatch tuneup problems
I recently purchased a hatch from this kid for $1500. It's a 94 DX Hatchback with a normal D15B7 in it. It's an automatic as well. I did a partial tune up today and ran into a couple snags. I removed the retaining screw for the rotor in the distributor and that thing won't come off with some mild prying and yanking. Do I need to yank the **** out of it?
Also, I drained out the ATF and refilled it. The drain plug was covered with a nice thick coat of metal shaving. I looked at the dipstick for the tranny and that thing is all bent up and looks like it's been rubbing something inside the tranny since it was all thinned and shiny . I cutted off the bad section of the dip stick and put it back.
Also, the brake fluid reservoir was like full of ****... dunno wtf it was in there... it looked like rust or something that has like an orangy color to it. I cleaned it out the best I could. I haven't gotten around to bleeding the system or inspecting the brakes yet.

Re: 94 Hatch tuneup problems (Cuong-nutz)
just spray a little bit of wd40 not a lot in the screw hole a let soak in then tap and wiggle at the same time til it come lose. about the tranny dip stick you will need a new one, cause if you cutted then it too short to gauge the tranny fluid.

Re: 94 Hatch tuneup problems (2lua)
Well i know I'm going to need a new stick . This car is missing a lot of nuts screws and bolts. I found out today that the missing two bolts holding the window regulator to the door we used to hold up the front license plate on the bumper. Pretty gay The kid didn't take care of the car when he had it. I hope he take cares of his new car
