94 ej1/b18b1 swap -- problems after head swap
Hey guys well first post for me on the forums.. Anyways I have a 94 ej1 ex I put a b18b1 swap in it ran great for a while then my bolts that hold the cams down with the cam caps... There's 24 of them 14 of them snapped so I removed that head got another head an put that on came off another b18b1 motor I didn't change the intake manifold put ARP head studs in put the head all back together and then realized the sensors on the intake manifolds were different so I hooked it up no hoses exposed anything got it up and running ran great for about 2 weeks.. Now here's where my problems started.....
Reving won't go past 4300rpm
When I start the car i have to hold the gas pedel down a little bit or the car won't idel
Sometimes after the car warms up it will idel
Runs shitty spits and sputters
Say I pull up to a red light or stop sign the car will just stall will crank but won't start up
Go crank it hours later starts up perfect
It seems like the car is not getting gas or something I really don't know would really appreciate it if someone can give me some ideas so I can get my baby back on the road thanks
