94 del Sol Vtec, buy or pass
Greetings all and thanks for looking at a very basic question. I have the opportunity to buy a 94 del Sol Vtec, one owner, 85k miles, good interior, that has been sitting outside for three years. It needs attention to paint but exterior otherwise is good. Older gentleman bought new for his wife, had the clutch rebuilt three years ago and shortly thereafter the engine "seized". The car has been sitting since then.
Based on that info I'm wondering if this car (with a tow dolly included) is worth $500 purchase price. If so, is a Japanese engine swap a way to go if you can find a b16a3? I would guess I'm looking at a min of $2500 invested to get it driveable...
