Default 94 Del Sol LED

So Im deathly afraid of me switching out the cluster lights to LED's in the 94 del sol. The last time I tried to, I ended up shorting out my cluster and it was a whole big mess. Anyway let me get to the point.

I'm trying to find out which ones exactly to replace. they're going to be neon green and I've been told that I shouldn't replace certain ones. Will the back of those black pegs have some kind of number or something on them so ill know which ones exactly to replace?

I can assure everyone that im not being lazy. I've watched tutorials on how to do it and one person replaces them all while another guys points in the general direction on which ones to replace. I just don't want to have to buy another 100 dollar cluster from ebay due to 7 dollar LED's

Do you want the cluster backlights, warning lights, or both to be replaced with LEDs? Basically, you just need LED lights that run on 12V DC.

And you will likely lose the dimmer function in the cluster by installing LEDs.

I found a site called

https://www.superbrightleds.com/vehicle/1994-honda-civic-del-sol?make=32&model=547&year=1994

it says that it will dim with the dimmer switch. Wohoo! Lol anyway I think I found out which ones to replace by looking at my busted cluster. The two turn signals as well as the gauge ones. I had to keep flipping and conparing which ones to replace. As for the Del sol picture above the time, I’m gonna have to search in how to replace that at a later time

I'm skeptical. You may want to contact the company.

The stock dimmer is designed for halogen bulbs, so the LEDs are unlikely to react to the dimmer like the stock bulbs do.

Why do they need to be leds ? The stock bulbs have little condoms on them. Blue or orange. You can try and find green ones, paint them , or paint the bulbs for a different color. You won't blow anything up going that route.

a couple of them are very dim. I just figure I replace them all while im at it. I switched the hazard and defroster wire up due to the fact that I thought they were the same, when one has 6 prongs and the other has 5. That's the reason why it shorted most of the spedo lights and the climate lights wouldn't work. Plus these LED's look pretty awesome and ive heard great reviews and saw cool pics on a del sol facebook group
