94 del slo sway bar diameters
Hey I bought the master set of poly bushings for my del slo. I have installed all but one of them - and I just figured out the 'master set' is not a 'master' set. There are many many many bushings that I saw but never got the parts to replace. Now I'm buying MORE poly bushings to replace all the ones I never got in my MASTER set.
One of these is the sway bar mount bushings - Apparently available in 21/22/24mm fronts and 11/13/15/16mm rears. I need to know... How big are the OEM sway bars on a 94' del Slo VTEC (b16a3)?
When I figure out how fat the bars are I can order more mounts. I might be able to get under there and measure them - but my driveway is gravel/mud and hurricane felicia is raping the trees with winds and the rain is coming down sideways.
Thanks much...

thanks, that helps a lot.
any real performance to be had in replacing them? Assuming the suspension is already built..

With stock size bars yes, but not a whole lot. You may notice it a bit. But it is not going to be a night and day difference if the stock bushings were not worn out and were performing properly in the first place.

so if it doesn't make too big of a difference in handling...
does it make enough difference to buy some 500dolla ones or could i be cheap and get away with some ebay 100dolla ones?
yeah I know it's my car, my money, and I don't want ebay rice parts.. Unless they would work the same way

Re: 94 del slo sway bar diameters
It all depends on what type of driving you plan to do with the vehicle. If all you are doing is DD an light track/autoX from time to time I would just go with the tried and true ITR 22mm rear and keep the stock front. Even that is going to be a little harsh compared to stock. Just remember to reinforce the mounting point so you dont start to warp them or tear them out under hard cornering. That is a very common problem when using a rear bar that thick. Anything bigger, like the ASR 24mm,the ride gets a bit rough for day to day IMO. Eibach makes a 26mm(F)/ 17mm(R )kit for our cars. That kit should be good for reduced roll without changing the overall characteristics of how the car likes to handle. I don't think it will do much to help the car rotate any better though as the increase is matched in the front and the rear. Maybe someone who has used that kit could help fill us in.
