Default 94 civic smoking/ loss of power

Ok so 94 civic hatch 1.5 non v-tec manual, had to get new ecu since old one fried from moisture, same ecu as old one but for an auto, car smokes like crazy whitish grey but smells like straight fuel. Doesn't have the normal power it should until full throttle, idle pulse like most Hondas now, coolant not mixing just rebuilt head and new gasket but coolant is backing up into the overflow and overflowing the overflow, not overheating what so ever.....

Why are u putting an auto ecu in a manual trans car?
Get the proper ecu before something else mess up.

I was told it wouldn't matter by several people as long as it wasn't a manual ecu in an auto

Did u bleed the coolant?
i would get the correct ecu and then start from there.

Coolant is bled, but I'm thinking more or less maybe 02 sensor, I keep reed in how if the 02 sensor is faulty it could be dumping in more fuel to compensate...I have a new one but can't change it til the weekend so will give that a try but not much I can do for an ecu at the moment. Also found out if I keep the car at around 60mph or lower it doesn't dump coolant into the overflow, not sure what that does for it but I'm gonna keep doing it until I figure out the main issue.

UPDATE: smoke it actually blue but yeah still smells like gas, today on the way home the car tries to bog and die when low rpms but if I floor it then it clears up...I'm not a mechanic by no means but this crap is weird. My assumption is that it's running so rich that it's bypassing the rings down to the oil thinning out the oil bypassing the rings thus leading to blue smoke smelling like straight gas...

I will check that but I found most of the problem, it was running so rich from it being a tooth off on timing, so now the smoke doesn't smell like fuel however my rings are shot so I put some RESTORE in it to see what I could do for it for now...
