Re: (CIVIC96DXcp)
Also I am not hating but think about it stock 125hp boosted on 8 psi only 160? That is a mere 35hp gain not even close to the gain you shoul have gotten from that set up. Even if the 125 is at the crank it would still be roughly 100 hp at the wheels meaning that you gained roughly 60hp. That is a little better than 35hp but not a lot. Get a new clutch and try it again see if that will do anything. Really why wasn't the clutch not replced in the first place? I would have done that before I spent money on power that I can't use because of a broke dick clutch.

Wishful thinking? I'd have put in such a cheap component (relative to the overall project) that nets 20-30 hp and makes it feel even faster than that extra hp will.

Re: (HiProfile)
it isnt my car i just work on my car at the shop and its my best friends shop the kid didnt have alot of money and we did a 5 sp swap on it and he put a new clutch in. we told him to get a aftermarket and he said when he saves some more money so let the clutch thing go if someone tells me how to post pics on here il post the dyno chart.
the point of this topic is the torque what honda puts out the same amount of horse as torque.

Re: (s2kboost)
good job. boosted SOHC =
just get a clutch and do some more tuning, and say hello to 20 more hp
Also, Don't worry what anybody says about what kind of power you're "supposed" to be putting out. 60hp over stock is still worth a good 1.5 to 2 second reduction in the 1/4 mile, and anybody who says that's not good enough is crazy.

hmmm...it does seem kind of low, my brother has the same setup as me...(92 civic si) he runs 9 psi and got 200 hp. i dont know for sure but i dont think a faulty clutch would do that much damage to the hp...but im still new to this whole turbo scene anyways. I could be wrong. good luck tho

hey what shop do you work at? you should look to getting some better management than the vafc, as well as a clutch. i had the act hdss clutch setup on my boosted z6 and it was nice
