94 Civic Hatch worth the money?
I found a 94 civic hatch on a Local NC website and was wondering if it is worth the money. Im new to buying from sellers online. I arranged to meet the seller tomorrow to give it a look and a test drive, i will post the link below.
94 Civic DX Hatchback
About 230*** miles
http://raleigh.craigslist.org/search...inAsk=&maxAsk=
He said he will let it go for $2000 minus the rims.
All help is appreciated!

I understand that there is some price difference between locations, but with a salvaged title, no more than $1000 with the wheels. I bought a 1993 EH3(Civic Si hatchback) for $600 because it had a salvaged title for water damage. Call your insurance company and ask them what the valuation is of the vehicle with a salvaged title, you will be amazed.....

Blue book is $885 not taking into account the salvage title.
There is an Si listed for less than that dudes asking.

wouldn't give him 2k for that. like 1500 is the most i would pay to be honest. that is a piece. besides it being a possibly good shell. as long as you don't pay over 2k for it and the frame is completely straight, i think you are all good.

i talked to him tomorrow but it was raining off and on pretty bad and the car was like 30 minutes away i didnt wanna go that far, i am gonna go see it tomorrow, i talked to him about the salvage title he said one of the previous owners had a minor accident and took the insurance check instead of using the insurance to fix it, the frame is straight and everything is in working condition. I'll keep this posted

good luck with that I've looked at 10-12 Civic hatchbacks so far off craigslist and still have yet to find a legit seller. Maybe one day I'll find some old 60yr old lady who was the original owner...
Anyway I'm from California so North Carolinans might be more legit. However, every single car I've looked at has ended up being some flake/scammer trying to pull some shady ****. Aside from my coupe which was owned by an old lady haha but $1800 seems fair considering there's not a ton of rust!

anyways the guy said he wont take less than 2200 for it, so im gonna lay off that one, BUTTTT i did come accross a 94 integra ls with 185k on it for $2500 at a local dealership, decent exterior and fairly clean interior, everything is stock except for the pioneer head unit, and all the speakers sound great, it has a strong B18b1 and tranny, i think im gonna scoop it up, but we cant talk about a teg in the civic forum lol
