94 Civic hatch with an LS swap -- wiring question
Hey H-T,
I got a 94 civic with an LS swap and I was looking to build a poor mans type r. Im asking the question because I am a wiring noob but I'm wondering what OBD does the B16 head need to be? I've heard you can't go from OBD0 to OBD2 so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: 94 Civic hatch with an LS swap -- wiring question
The OBD of the head doesn't matter it's the sensors, injectors, and distributor that will have to be OBD1 if you are going to use a stock ecu you will have to add wires for vtec solenoid, vtec oil pressure switch, and knock sensor but you can skip the last one if you are going to use a chipped ecu there are a ton of how-to write ups on wiring in vtec and it should only be 4 maybe 5 wires if you include the knock sensor
