94 civic ex w b18 swap, MINOR PROBS PLEASE HELP
I have a 94 civic with a 99 ls swap, aem intake, dc header, full hks exhaust. I got it in great running condition 50,000 miles but a few cosmetic and electrical problems that i need a little help fixing, im planning on getting it as primered as soon as possible and getting the dents taken out and repainted. But i want to take care of these probs before hand
The problems with the car.
1.) (the most annoying) When i start the car, it seems when its cold it takes longer, when i turn on the head lights the interior gauges come on most of the time, but the headlights wont, when i click it to high beams, they come on, but when i stop holding the beams on, they turn back off. It takes usually 2-3 minutes to come on, but yesterday it took around 10 minutes. I have aftermarket gauges that i will post pics of.
2.) The sunroof leaves scrapes on the left side when opening, as in when it opens all the way, a part of the sun roof so far has scrapped two inch long scraps that have now rusted, as well as that, it will not close all the way on the right side. The right corner, when closed will remain raised about half an inch letting rain in most of the time. If i need to take of the sunroof and just clean it out real good i will, just need help on how to. There is also a picture i will post of that as well.
3.) This one isnt so bad. My spedo does not work. Every now and again maybe once a month it will work for maybe 15/20 minutes, usualy when it rains.
4.) You cant tell in the pics because it was working at the time, but my drivers side window fell of the track, i had a it put back on the track, but a week or two later it fell back off. so i got a mechanic to check it out and he told the two clips that clip the window on the the track had been broken so i gotta get some new ones. where would i be able to find them and would i be able to do it my self. i got duct tape holding my window up. common you guys, cant leave a fellow civic lover riding like that lol.
and i have just one more quick question, based on the pics, how low would you say it is in the front, i know its illegal and the rear is legal. i was thinking about just getting the tein h series and lowering an inch from factory,im wanting to keep it looking good but be able to get over speed bumps and not smack my header, is that a good idea? it would be great to let me know what i can do my self and what i should leave to the pros.i will Appreciate all the help! help me get my ride looking the way it should. also suggestions on mods would be cool too. Im just looking for it to be flawless before i get to the body work.
