I pushed it in tI'll I heard it click in. I was wondering if there is something im not doing right? Could it be because it's so low I like the height it sits at but I don't wanna keep dealing with the axle pulling out anymore

Lowering the car wouldn't have anything to do with it. Pulling out too far on the wheel end of the axle would first pull the inner joint apart. The "cup" part of the inner joint would stay in the transmission.
When the axle is properly latched into the transmission, it will not be able to be pulled out by hand or by lightly prying on it.

You are certain it is the correct length?
once fully inserted into the transmission, it doesnt pop out easily. It will take some force to get it to come out.
ensure the c ring is still on the shaft. Push it in all the way, turn it a couple time.. pull on it, if it pop out, then it is not seated all the way in.
