94 Civic EX clock reseting with key and lights
My clock resets when the key is off or when the headlights are turned on. The lights will also kill the illumination.
It does have an aftermarket stereo that was in it when I purchased it. I traced the white / blue striped wire back to the fuse panel (I think). It looks like the radio was wired in using a kit to the factory stereo harness.
Any ideas on how to remedy the clock issue.

What are the colors of the wires attached to the clock? They should be Yel, Red/Blk, Wht/Blu, and Blk. Have those wires been cut and spliced?

Nothing is spliced. I've read some posts where removing the factory radio causes some issues, but have not read how to remedy it.
