Default 94 civic ej1 problems with motor

I was driving my car to the store and out of no where my car just kinda jerks and blog. When I get home my engine was smoking like crazy. My whole entire radiator was empty. No coolant int it but it was everywhere in my bay. My motor is a d16z6 bottom block and a y8 head. What could be the promblem? Water pump or thermostat? Both? Motor was just rebuilt 500 miles ago.

or, how about you locate the source of the massive leak first.

Fix the leak, bleed the coolant system and then see whats wrong, if anything
