94 civic dx starting problem PLEASE Help!
I been having some trouble with my civic starting. One day I went out to start my car and it sounded like the battery was dead almost and it barely cranked over. After this the starter seemed to be sluggish like a low battery sound. I checked the battery and charged it and I got the same thing. few days later the car seems to not want to start. All the lights come on in the cluster and I can hear the fuel pump prime. and All i get is a "click" sound now some times the car will start and other times it wont. It is becoming realy fustrating. What do you guys think it might be I was thinkin the starter. I just purchased one off craigslist for 30 bucks... or do you guys think it might be somethin else. Thanks !@

Is it possible that there is a loose wire to the starter? This was the case on my 240sx recently. The wire was loose and only occasionally getting good contact. After tightening the nut, it didn't give me any problems until the starter actually went bad a couple weeks later lol.

since your battery is fine and you hear the fuel pump working, swap that starter and go from there. I think you can bring in the starter to any auto shop (pepboys, kragen, etc) and they will test it for you.
