94 Civic DX Coupe - problems with battery cable, wipers, and radio
I just started driving my car again because I just got my license back after a suspension. Its having some issues:
#1 I drove my car with my stereo on and then parked it for 8 hours came back out and it would not start it had no power. (This one I might know how to fix when I jumped my car my negative power cable completely came off I set it back on there. Its 2 in the morning so I will try and tighten it down tomorrow and see if that helps. I just wanted this on here in case it does not)
#2 In the winter before the suspension my windshield wiper blades were frozen and I broke them lose. I got back in the car and thawed it out and then when I went to turn them on only the driver side one works now. So I need to know what I need to do to fix that. I am not sure if its a part or something that needs tightened.
#3 When I turn my stereo on I hear a humming when I drive. It changes pitch as I shift and accelerate.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: 1994 Honda Civic DX Coupe have a few different electrical problems...
1)Sounds liek you answered yourself
2)Get a motor
3)Probably just rattling. More mph more friction more noise.

#3 only can be heard when the stereo is on and its a real hi pitched hum. The car just makes normal car sounds when the stereo is off.
Thanks!
Thanks!

There's some radio frequency noise being produced in your electrical car's system. Maybe replacing the battery cables will eliminate this problem.

Of course naturally because I wanted to work on my car it would be raining lol. Now that I see its only one motor how is it possible that one of the windshield wiper blades would work and the other would not? So here is a picture of what I saw after I took everything off:

One motor drives both using a series of bars and linkages. Most likely the linkage has seperated between the driver size and passenger side wiper.

For starters a picture of the entire tray might be helpful, but Im sure its just that something plastic has snapped or else the arm has slipped off the drive linkage due to a missing bolt.

Re: 94 Civic DX Coupe - problems with battery cable, wipers, and radio
I went to try and turn on the wipers just to see what the bolts would do. They were working fine with out the wiper assembly on there. So I put the wiper assembly on and now there not aligned properly with the bolts so they dont move right? What do I need to do to get them properly aligned?
Thanks!

Re: 94 Civic DX Coupe - problems with battery cable, wipers, and radio
UPDATE:
I tested the bolts on high with the wiper assembly off and it worked fine. I did not think to test the low setting. I got the windshield wipers assembly aligned. I used them for the first time today. I turned them on low they did not work. I turned them on high and they worked. I drove to my destination when I got there I tried to turn them off using the off and that did not work. I pushed and held the handle back and up for about 10 sec and then they went all the way off. I got out of the car got back in 5 hours later.
When I turned the car on they came on automatically in the off position which was fine because I needed them any way. After 5 min of working in the off position they turn off. I turn them on low by accident and then they come on and work for about another 5 minutes before they go out. I turn them on high and they work till I get home. I turned them off then had to hold the handle back and up again for 10 sec for them to turn all the way off. Also keep in mind that all the times they come on its all the same exact speed. The fuse is fine. I think they are defiantly cracked out LOL.
Thanks for any help
