94 Civic dx clock problem..
I'm stumped with making this clock work in my dash. I plugged it in and it doesn't light up or anything UNLESS...I push down on the little flip switch thing in the front of the clock then it will turn on. If I set the time on it, it resets when i shut off and restart the car. I already checked the 7.5amp fuse in the engine bay. I got this clock from my friend and it was working just fine in his car, memory would save the time and it would stay lit up when car was on. If there is another fuse or another step i missed when installing this i would greatly appreciate your help I looked and couldn't find anything different than what i've already done.

Re: 94 Civic dx clock problem..
I got this clock from my friend to replace the one i already which was doing the exact same thing. I figured the new clock would fix it but its acting the same way. Then i tried the clocks in my friends car and now they do the same thing when they were working before in his car I must have missed something.

Re: 94 Civic dx clock problem..
All the wires look good, really clean and undamaged. My clock on my cd player works fine. The dash clock works when i press the little flip lip on it down, but once i release it just shuts off and resets, so its getting power when i hold down the reset/adjust switch? on it lol just not constant when key is on.

Re: 94 Civic dx clock problem..
Your clock has three different power wires.
Possibilities:
1) Fuse 32 is blown. Test with a multimeter or replace with known good 7.5A fuse.
2) The Wht/Blu wire is bad, so the clock isn't getting power to store memory. Test this wire attached to the clock with a voltmeter. It should have battery voltage.
3) The clock is bad, if all else is fine.
