'94 civic bouncing/jumping in 1st and second
hi, my 94 civic d15b7, 5spd is i guess i would call it jumping when im driving along slow in either 1st or 2nd, if i push the clutch in and let it out, it goes away, and if i ride the clutch some while driving slow it wont jump. Im new to the honda game and would like to know what this could be caused by. thanks for your time

I think it's just a hydro-tranny thing. Try to engage better. When i first started driving hydro 5-spd. this hoppy/shudder would happen if i was off alittle on the engagement. I could be wrong ,does it happen EVERY time???

thanks for the reply. No, it doesnt happen every time, this is my first hydro tranny, and i guess it just takes some getting used to. The guy i bought it from told me that it happens , and he said it had been like that for a few yrs while he owned the car
