94 civic with 99 d16y8 motor
Hello all.
I installed a d16y8 to replace the d15b7 i had in my civic (94 civic hatch, 99 civic ex motor)
I currently am running the stock ecu untill the obd2-1 conversion harness comes in, and the same with the distributer. I had to modify the distributer a little bit to fit. and im also using the d15b7's fuel injectors/fuel rail, and the d16 wiring harness. The car ran up untill 4 days ago, when i swapped in the d16.
But my issues lies with fuel, not spark. I have excellent fuel pressure up to the fuel rail, and even in it. But the injectors refuse to pulse. With the ignition on, i have voltage in all of the injectors. But the cylnders are dry while cranking.
Am i missing something? If this were a DIS gm 3.8 I'd say it was a crank sensor, but from what I've seen, these dont have one.
Thanks,
Bill
