i just bought a 93 vx and wen i push on the gas itll start to cut out then itll run normal again. it does it on and off constantly. and ideas whats up? the person i bought it of of said it has a new dist cap and new plugs and wires. im gonna check the plugs tomm but if its not any of those things what could it be?

could be the cap and rotor weren't installed correctly or possibly the cam position sensor is off. just check the sensor and wiring

Inspect the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and make sure the ignition timing is set to spec.

if its nly under load giving it throtte, maybe give the tps a look over, one swap i did in the past i had not plugged the tps plug all the way in, ithought it was, ad spent three daystrying to figure out what the deal was.

if it was a tps or cam sensor wouldnt it be throwing a code? cause its not

itmight not be, it could be operational, but not accurate...

it seems like it only does it after the car is warmed up.im gettin new plugs and wires tomm and hoping that solves the problem

If the problem only happens after the engine is warmed up, then the O2 sensor may be the problem. Try unplugging it to see if the problem goes away.
