Do anyone of you guys feel that your clutch pedal feels kinda stiff when depressed or let off?
its not the smooth easy feeling like the integra's clutch..
does anyone know how i can make it feel smooth again??
also, it makes a sqeak each time you depress the pedal..how come??

Before my clutch went to clutch-heaven, it was much easier to press than my Integra. My leg gets so tired lately when having to drive the Integra cause its literally a workout on my left leg in rush hour traffic to get home... I miss my easy little Civic clutch. Ah well, I don't think things will get much better with a new clutch and motor....

I've got a 95 Si and I have the exact same problem. the clutch still grabs fine but I get a squeek every time I let the clutch out. My clutch master was leaking so I replaced that but it had no affect on the squeek.

While I had the master cyl. out I tried to investigate the problem but found nothing. I could move the pedal with little resistance and it had no sound so I thought it had to be the clutch master. As soon as I replaced the part It started squeeking again.

The only thing I can figure is that the grease for the pivot point of the clutch pedal must have dried out after all the years. Some day Ill get back under there and try and lube it but for now I just live with the noise.

Cliff notes: clutch squeeked , replaced clutch master, clutch still squeeked.

Mine does the same thing, I am guessing that there is a bushing in need of some grease or something, call a Honda Mechanic, ask him what he thinks it is, act like you will bring the car in after he tells you, then DIY. If your pedal isn't hanging up then I think you are fine. You said it was a little stiff? Did you put DOT 4 fluid in it? That might make a difference, If you aren't hanging up though I wouldn't worry. Remember ( i am guessing this is a hydro tranny?) you aren't directly connected to the tranny so if you can actuate the MC ok then you are ok.

yeah...same thing for my friends 2000 Si...after we installed the CM Stg4 it was actually softer than stock....but then after about 2-3 months it got stiffer and then this squeek came from nowhere....we changed the fluid like 2 times with valvoline synpower which hasn't made any difference.

get a SS clutch line- it will help the pedal effort alot.

my clutch is RIDICULOUSLY soft.....it squeaks too once it reaches the floor board

i hardly ever drive my sohc hard, but i did yesterday with a nice shift to 2nd, then once i put it in 3rd DAMN it slipped for like a full second
