Default 93 Sedan

Hey guys... I'm new here... not sure where this was suposted to go, and I figured since this was the civic board, I could make a thread here? If not, I'm sorry and could a mod please move it, but if it goes here, thats even better. lol

ALRIGHT! on to the car.

this is my new baby

Hey guys! I'm kind of new to the site... I've been a member for a long time, but never posted much until now because I just got my civic. People from clubintegra should know me... If you don't, then you don't go to the site. lol. I used to be a huge DA integra fan, but when the opportunity came for this baby, I couldn't pass it up...

Gotta love your friends, don't ya. lol

here are some pictures for ya'll

4 doors for more ******!!

Typical Honda rust spots, but thats the ONLY rust on the car, so I'm happy.

This is my first "Mod" to the civic.

Comment my friends!

well.. when I first got the car I was going to try and just make it look great. Fix everything up, add in my own little thing here and there, and THEN worry about speed... but after driving b18's my whole life, this little guy is NOT cutting it for me... lol

I'm currently going to school for automotive technology and come second semester this year (4th semester I guess) we're having Engine's class. plans are **if all goes well** to do a minor build on a H22 motor in that class and hopefully have it swapped in by early next summer.

I'd like around 200 whp, and I think that is very do-able on a small tune with that motor. I'm aiming to set up some sort of "challenge" for it tho... I'd like to keep power stearing and a/c. I haven't really looked into it too far yet to see if others have done this, but I'm sure it has been done, so SOMEONE can throw me a line if I get stuck. lol. This car will be DD for probably the rest of it's life, so I want to be able to have all the accessories with a little bit of bang when it needs it.

lol, I bet! I'd like to do it, just so it's not a "race car". know what I mean? SO Many people think just because they don't have power stearing or a/c there car is going to be so much faster! I want to be able to be quick, but also have creature comforts that a stock car would have.

Thanks for the complements! Keep them coming guys!

por 15 is a paint that will seal rust and stop it from rusting more. look it up it comes with everything you need not just the paint. i got the starter kit for $25. alot of ht-ers will tell you to cut and weld a new one and this **** cant work. it can and is cheaper than the cut and weld

no a/c isnt so bad here in Wisconsin, but days like today(95*F) and welding all day its nice to have it, some days i wish I had it, but it never came stock on mine(CX base, base Civic), hell it never even had a stereo in it, that is until I bought it at least, its a good DD for me at least, and Kuchtaboy is one of my "homies" lol, we ride together! two Civics and occasionally a RT Neon and GTI, BTW lookin beter than the DA so far, to bad its not as fast as the DA, right now at least, but thanks for gettin that Civic, now im not the slowest in our club!

^**Sigh..**^

If speed was my number 1 concern, I'd have already swaped something in it. And I want to keep a/c not only because of the weather here, but just to say I still have it with a motor swap. keep the car as "stock" as possible almost. lol

How'd you re-wrap the headliner? Like what steps did you take?

Big PITA lol

First, Take off all pillars/oh **** handles/visors etce

than the headliner will plop out. For VW we have a layer of cushion foam, you have to pick it all off

It took about 3 hours of picking, but once you have it all off, Cut your fabric, than buy 3M SUPER 90 and spray it on the headliner, lay the fabric, stretch, smooth, etc, than hot glue the excess on the underside

oh man! lol, htat vdub is sick!!

the sedan doors are easier to do than the coupe/hatch doors...

we just used a lot of adheasive spray and gently wrapped the fabric around the door cards

Nice car! Good starting point, since sedans are the less popular bases to begin from in the Honda scene. Liking the interior, and how your car looked like a fruitbasket in all that seran-wrap ****.

Rust is serious, but easily remedied. How is the condition of the pinstripe on your car? I myself don't particularly enjoy the pinstripes, but if it's in good condition, I say keep it. Just my opinions though, you do what you want with her and have fun! Welcome to H-T.

thats kinda why I'm going with the Sedan... not many people have, and it's fun to drive around with all your friends! lol

the pin strip is coming off... I don't like it. I'm going to have my buddy detail it for me (remove all the scratches in the paint) and have it taken off then. we both work at a dealership and he knows how to do that ****, so I work mechanically on his car, and he makes my car pretty. lol
