93 honda del sol door hinge problem
So, basically while taking off the driver side (top) door hinges, it sounded like a bolt fell between the inside frame and I paid no mind. while unbolting the second one it would not come out and finally figured out the bolt had a nut on the other side. is this common? I have been looking for the diagrams and cant find anything. Anyone replaced this before? I am afraid that if I tap it, the frame is so thin it will just rip out... Suggestions are appreciated, for now I think ill look fit a bolt from the inside sticking out and have the nut on the hinge holding it... if that makes any sense.

a tap will never work there. unfortunately, you'd need some kind of welded nut.
edit: i am parting a del sol, and am willing to cut that area and sell it, along with the hinges. low dollar sale, but i do like hooking people up.

Please excuse the Cobb webs, I just started working on it after 11 years... I was able to get up in it and snap what I was talking about, this is the passenger side. What parts do you have left from the part out, looking for wheel wale splash guards...
