93 honda civic speedometer and engine lights some engine lights not working
I went to get the codes and realized the engine lights weren't working sets does some of the shifting lights work dash highlights work but the speedometer don't work either there's something wrong with with it that is making it stall and engine has a noise.. it's a New car to me so I'm trying to get the codes to figure out where to start... kinda important cuz recently it became the only transportation to get me and the wife back and forth to work to support our family so any help would be much appreciated.

Checked the fuses and did see anything wrong with the dashboard one and didn't see any others to check that would deal with it in the diagrams I found on here or by the one in the car. I know there is a sensor and not A cable but would that effect the only partial lights working? The battery one works the sets and some of the shifter lights... the trip don't work either?... and how do I check the bulbs?

It was number 19 inside the car. It's suppose to be a 10A but what's in there is a 25... I used the one from this website

The fuse for the cluster gauges and warning lights is 10A dash fuse 15. It also protects the circuit for the turn signals, clock, and back up lights.
You can find fuse box diagrams in the FAQs sticky.

I'm using my phone for internet for some reason it's not giving me the links or showing me anything to click on it....
Edit... I went to the main site and gave me the links u were talking about I did that on both sides of the fuse with the light tester when I first checked them I don't have a way to measure the voltage itself I only got a 110 220 reader... but both sides lit up bright.... the tester I used was a standard ground light tester with a point

Does the VSS connector get battery voltage and have good ground?
Does the CEL now work with a new bulb assembly installed?

Are you using the factory service manual to help you? It has all the troubleshooting procedures you should follow very well described, specially when dealing with electrical.
Regarding the speedometer problem, I've had to replaced the VSS on my 94 civic because it started failing. I've read it is common, don't worry it is a cheap part and easy to fix (takes you 30min and $10).
Probably you should use a quality (either from dealership or OEM) one because I went cheap on e-bay and it is kind of "slow" in the beginning.
