My 93 honda civic is making a loud clicking sound when I hit the throttle. The head gasket was replaced about 2 months ago, I just did an oil change last week when I started the car after the oil change white smoke came out of the exhaust. I drove it home thinking my head gasket cracked again. The next day I went out to look at it, started it and no white smoke, drove it to town about 10 miles everything seemed fine. The cars been running fine until today when this really loud ticking sound started, and when at a red light the motor dies and doesn't want to restart. I have a video recording of the sound idk how to post the video on here but will send it if you need to hear what the ticking sounds like.

Is it ticking or is it knocking? Ticking relative to knocking, is quiet.
