93 hatch h22 swap questions
Ok, to start off with. I have searched and searched and i have read everything i can about puttin a h22 swap into a EG hatch. I have a few questions that i need answered but before i ask them...let me tell you all what i am working with... This is everything i have:
93 hatch 5spd
has been swapped to receive h22 full swap
includes hasport h22 swap mounts
already swapped to h22 cable shifter assembly
shift cables are in place
no motor no trans in hatch
I have a fully ready to plug and play engine harness for my h22 to plug right into the hatch, which the guy made ( car has been previously h22 powered and was successful)
Now i am a prelude guy so this is what i have also...
2 prelude shells.
94 si (has h22a1/m2s4 trans, i flipped this car 2 days ago
96 prelude shell with nothing usefull on it..lol.
Ok...that is what i have now. From what i have read. ALL i need to do now is buy some 90-93 integra 5spd axles and change the INNER joints to my current prelude ones and use the prelude "half-shaft"... This is my main concern is axles... I need someone to help me out bigtime and let me know what to do about the axle situation.I also know that the hatch has been sittin for a while..I know my friend has a 94 integra RS 1.8 and he just replaced his oem fuel pump for a walbro 255lph one, So i am wondering if i should buy a strainer and put that fuel pump into my hatch. I do not know if the fuel pumps interchange from a 94 integra to a 93 hatch so if anyone knows please tell me!
I am very sorry about my bad typing, im not a computer person

for axles is what i really need to know. I have never disassembled a brand new axle and changed the ends before. Thats why i was wonderin if someone has a how to or knows how to do this and tell me. Thanks I think you use prelude inner part and use 90-93 teg shaft and outer joints...but i need someone to clarify please.

well i cannot afford to buy them at the moment and i work at a parts store with a charge account under my name so i can just buy the 90-93 teg axles and if they break my manager will warranty em out.
But what i need to know is... Will these axles Work and fit??!
the guy i am buyin the civic hatch from says with those hasport mounts that you can use the teg axles with no modifications to them like changin inner joints. PLease someone clarify this for me. I have Every single thing needed for my swap but i wanna go ahead and buy my axles tomorow if i can figure this out.

Re: (sleepyH22)
You cant take apart 2 different axles and try to swap ends. Ive tried it...it doesnt work. Save up and do it right. I bought Hasport axles for my h22 civic. Cost me $385.

from more of my research... I see that the prelude half-shaft must be used with 88-89 integra 5spd axles w/ the inner join changed to the 92-96 prelude ones...
From what i have read this will work just fine.
