Default 93 hatch b18b1 swap gas cap question

Like title says I have a 93 dx hatch with a 95 b18b1 motor and gsr trans, car runs great no problems with swap, but my question is, should I have a vented gas cap or non? I'm using the stock cap but it seems to build up pressure when I drive, and releases a lot of fumes when going for fill up, I know this isn't a pressing matter but seeing if this is normal or what. Thanks for your help

The pressure is supposed to be there, it's functioning properly.

Thank you for that, I was just wondering because my other cars don't have pressure built up like my hatch.

Make sure your charcoal cannister is connected and working.

So if my canister is removed I should be ok correct? I don't have gas fumes under hood or any running issues, In fact the motor was just rebuild back to oem specs using all Honda/Acura parts.

It's ok to remove the EVAP stuff so long as you plug the lines including the one going to the tank(hard line). that's what I did on my 94 gsr.
