Default 93 hatch auto - no crank

I have worked on cars a long time and this time Im stumped.Started car in the morning to warm up the engine so i could change the oil and everything ran fine.Went to start it when I was done and nothing.Lights come on in the dash, starter passes a bench test,12v at the starter and solenoid, but no crank.Tried jumping the car with my jump box since I haven't tested the battery but it does read 12v and no luck.Tapped the starter and replaced the battery to starter cable and still nothing.I hate to guess but Im leaning toward the aftermarket starter on the car.Suggestions?

Are you able to push start the engine?

The starter grounds through the G3 transmission ground wire. Start there.

How did I miss that? It's right in your title.

Glad to hear your back up and running.

Cars back at it but its random.Wouldnt start after about 10 different spaced attempts.Tried another main relay and same results. Then decided to leave it at work and tried again and fired right up.Full tank of gas but pump is priming randomly.Grounds or pump/ecu?
