Default 93 ex interior lights

Hello everyone,
Just picked up a 93 civic ex coupe and it's got a few issues.
The first and foremost, I don't have any lights in the instrument panel or in the climate controls. The parking lights work however.
My question is, I hiiiighly suspect I'm missing something important.

Between the sunroof and cruise control, I have an empty pocket, what goes there?
Thanks for reading.

You're missing the dimmer switch. None of the dash lighting will work without it.

Kind of what I suspected and that totally makes sense.
After a little googling, I'm thinking the aftermarket radio might have cooked the old one.
I'll have to pull it out and see what rat's nest this PO left me.
Guessing a junkyard or the dealer to get a new one?
I can't seem to find it in our local part store's websites.

If you dont care about the lights being dimmed (IE at normal full brightness)

That'll work just fine.
So the fuse will still protect the system?
And does this dimmer have anything to do with the dome light that should come on with the doors opening?

Dimmer doesnt affect dome light. That is controlled through the ICU on the back of the fuse panel from the 2 door switches. The dimmer itself has no internal fuses.

Alright so that'll be a different thread.

Go get the helms manual, it has the proper wiring diagrams in it.
