Default 93 ex coupe power window problem

my passenger side window seems to have problems. When I press the switch to go down nothing happens but when I move the switch to up i can some noise coming from the door panel. Is this a symptom of a bad window regulator? because if it is, i'm going to attempt to replace it myself. thx.

my driverside window has pretty much crapped out on me. At first it would go up slowly, or not at all. Now it stops about 1" from the top and then clicks. I have to get out, pull the window up, then push the button to make it go all the way up.

Mabe check the wiring on your switch and motor. Is it the driverside, passenger-side, or both switches that don't work to make the window go down?

the driverside window and driverside switch works fine, it's just the passenger side window that has a problem, I press up on the switch I hear a noise from the door, it sounds like it's trying but when I press down, nothing happens.

but does the window go down when you push the down button on the passenger or driver side? Or are both not working to make the passenger side go down.

If neither button will get it to go down it might be a loose wire on the motor that makes the window go down.
