car just cut off while driving and wont start... need help asap...
While driving my car just up and cut off... I had just turned my stereo up loud and turned the bass up a bit when it happened so I thought maybe I had killed the battery, but the lights and stereo and everything work fine. When I try to restart the car it's turning over fine but it refuses to crank. There are no visible leaks, theres plenty of oil and gas in the car. When it cut off it just up and stopped... Just like it would if I had just turned the key to cut it off. No jumping, sputtering, nothing. The timing belt was just recently changed, and I had a friend whose timing belt snapped on him with only about 60k miles on the belt... Wondering if that is the problem? Any advice would be great, thanks.
The car is a 93 civic coupe with a B18C swap (the sir-g one). This is the first time this has happened and I'm kinda stumped. I'm assuming something might've come lose but i'm unsure of what exactly to look for in this case, and my haynes book is nowhere to be found when I need it most.

Re: (wrenchez81)
I don't smell any fuel... And apparently it's not sparking at all, if that helps to narrow it down. Checked the fuel pump already and it seems to be fine...
Checking out the distributor now.

Re: (arterial_black)
I give. Too late at night to get parts, and at this point I can't do anything myself anyway so I'm wasting my time... Just gonna take it to the mechanic that worked on it last and get 'em to look at it in the morning. Thanks for the reply... the readings from the distributor are a little off according to the 92-95 civic haynes book I found, but I have no idea where my Acura book is so maybe the reading would be correct for that swap, idk I have no way of knowing for sure.
