i have a 93 civic si and my sunroof glass recently cracked and then i went and found a replacement from the junk yard. i took the whole sunroof and installed it in but it doesn't seem like my sunroof is tight?? its in place tho and i did tighten the screws but i dont know whats wrong with it. when i try to open it, it gets stuck right then when pressing on it. so then i have to use my hands and push it up a bit to get it to open. closing it is fine no problems there at all. but the darn thing doesn't prop open either when i press the button?

also the other day i got lazy and decided to go throw the car wash and my sunroof was leaking water from the top right and bottom right when sitting in the car.....?

anyone out there with these problems or know how i can fix this? anyone with info to properly install the sunroof back on. i think i might have messed up??? please shine some light in and thanks in advance!!!

I have the same problem with opening it as well , its the motor also does it make a squealing noise when u try to open it? and for the water if its on the floor its your hose that exits the car its on the drivers side under the fender.

yeah it makes the noise to open it.but after i push up on it, it slides just fine to open. and it closes perfect. i'll check on the hoses tho. thanks for the input.
