Default 93 EG si and 97 dx motor ?????good deal?????

I just wanted to insure myself that I getting a good deal. The deal is that I found this 93 eg si for a really good deal. From what the guy told me, it's not running at all. The interior is somewhat beat up, but hey it's 11 years old. The exterior is the same. It's $1400, but I'm sure this is negotiable.

I also found another guy with a 97 dx motor. He claims to have a complete swap with extra parts. I'm also getting an incredible deal on the motor. I just want the car to run, and when I have the money, a b18c will go into it. It's $500, but I'm also sure that this is negotiable. The 97 dx motor will go into the 93 eg like it was made for it right?

sounds ok but i am sure if u save your money up and look around you could find something better because i got a 97 ex motor complete swap for 350$ and it only has 45k miles on it.. so look around some more before you do it..

Actually the EG(92-95) SI came with a SOHC VTEC motor. 500 sounds a little high for a 97 DX motor. I'm sure you can find a SOHC VTEC motor for that price or cheaper, but if you just want the car to run then go ahead and get a non VTEC one for now untill you save up for the GSR swap.

Thanks for the info. Is $1400 a good price for a "shell"?

i wouldnt buy it unless you already have a car to daily drive
i had a taurus SHO that i daily drove, so i purchased a CRX rolling chassis... then a few weeks later the taurus went into an eternal sleep and never woke up... so then i was stuck carless for about six months until i bought my 94 CX
