1992-1993 Coupe and hatch are the same, 1994-1995 coupe and hatch are the same. I am almost certain that the sedans are the same for those years as well, but I haven't checked.

No, glove boxes are different. 1992-1993 is bigger. 1994-1995 had the passenger side airbag and a smaller glove box.

the 94-95 civic glove box are design different due to standard passanger airbag. If your looking for a replacement. Any 92-93 non-passanger airbag will fit, regardless of trim model or door.

My 93 EX coupe had a passenger side airbag and the smaller glovebox. I think trim might have something to do with it, my friends 93 CX didnt have an airbag in it, and had the bigger glovebox. Couldve also been just an option for 92-93, and then made mandatory for 94-95, maybe...
Go to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and check out some part numbers, that would be your best bet in comparing them, in my opinion.

Thanks for clearing that one up... I hadn't had the glove box out of my sedan before I sold it to verify, but that was what I suspected.
The exception to the rule would be the Del Sol, which I know for a fact is different.

Part numbers are a good way of checking... I was just too lazy to bother today.
And if your 1993 had a passenger side airbag, then someone put it there. Passenger side airbag was a standard feature only and was added for 1994 model year vehicles.

Came from the dealership with it. My dad bought the car from a honda dealership in 93, and I ended up with it, and its had the passenger airbag in it for the past 14 years.

That would be the first one I've ever seen or heard of if it's a 1993 model year. Just for kicks and giggles, do you mind sending me the VIN through PM? I'd like to do a bit of research.

Info taken from autotrader.com
1992 - A driver airbag is standard on all new Civics. Unfortunately, the wagon body style is dropped from the lineup. VTEC power is available by way of the top-end EX model. All sedans now have power steering added to their standard equipment list.
1993 - A coupe body style is added to the Civic stable. EX models get standard power steering and a sunroof. A passenger airbag is available on the EX Coupe.
1994 - The passenger airbag is now standard on all Civics. Antilock brakes are optional on the LX Sedan, EX Coupe and Si Hatchback.
1995 - No changes for the last year of the current Civic.

I'll leave that information be and just say that I have seen examples in the past where autotrader was incorrect. For what it's worth.

Talk about getting a warm fuzzy feeling... thanks.... Sorry I even asked
Since apparently my request for information was an emminent threat and a personal affront, I went for other avenues. Based on part numbers and information from http://www.slhondaparts.com, apparently the 77500-SR3-C01** line was used exclusively in 1992 and in most models for 1993. Apparently there was an EX-S model in 1993 (which I can only assume means -S(tupid added safety features)) It looks like 1994 got the EX with ABS to replace the EX-S.... the site doesn't really say whether or not the EX-S has ABS or not, but I'm going to guess no. Either way, apparently this EX-S thing uses the 77500-SR8-A94** and 77500-SR8-A95** series on the glove box, which is the one that 1994 uses....
So, I guess yes, your 1993 could well have a passenger side airbag. In that case, I'm sorry, you missed out on the only year you could get the coupe without an airbag and got a fugly looking dashboard in the process to go with your small glovebox.
And back to the topic for the OP. If your car doesn't have a passenger side airbag, then just go get a glovebox from another car without a passenger side airbag. If it has one, then get one from a car with a passenger side airbag.

Re: 93 EG GLOVE BOX. (Twolowpaco)
It's that the glove box is different, because they are the same 92-95. It's the glove box bracket that goes in the bottom of the dash where the glove box bolts on that is different.

Re: (qat727)
You see, my dad bought the car back in the day, and when he bought it he wasnt thinking "Well I might just want to go a head and get the model without the airbag, because someday kids all over the country are going to be biting eachothers ankles to have these cars so they can modify them." I think it was more like he was thinking of the saftey of his family. And he gave me a hell of a deal on it, and Im not going to pass up a good deal because of a f***i*g air bag! The airbag doesnt make the dash look fugly, in my opinion that is. I like it, Im kind of used to it you could say (for 14 years!) How can you sit there and say that your request was an emminent threat and a personal affront? You wanted my vin number, and before I could give it to you someone found information proving that I was right, so what was the point of me giving you my vin#? And then, you do some researching yourself, and find out for yourself that I was right! No threat or affront there. I was right and you were wrong, and someone else pointed that out for us, then you found out on your own.
