93 Eg d16ZC Cel codes
Now I have my build at my house, d16zc obd1 p06. It's showing a cel code, and from what It shows it says 7-1-1-4(flashed 7 times, 1 long flash, followed by another long flash, and ending with four flashes). So I'm guessing its code 71 and code 14. 71 being a misfire in cylinder 1, and 14 being the IACV. Just replaced the IACV NEW and I'm having the same problem. Problem being that when I turn it on a cold start the idle bounces up and down and then it idles fine. And when I press the accelerator the idle bounces(like if it's gasping for air) and the more i press it the harder it gets and also I hear a noise coming from the Intake. And when I press down more on the accelerator it revs but it only goes high and I can't get a steady idle. I also replaced the map sensor.

1 O2A - Oxygen sensor #1
4 CKP - crank position sensor
have you adjusted the fast idle valve
bled the coolant system
any leaks from coolant or leak in the IM gasket?
if its a misfire have you checked spark? wires/plugs

Yes I checked the distributor and what had happen is that my mechanic had put my old rotor in my new dizzy. That helped. I also bled my coolant system and helped even more. It idles good. So far it runs and it moves and shifts good. Now it's just the check engine light and it still throwing 1 and 4. So I'm guessin when it threw 7 1 1 4 it's was the tps os and IACV. And my OS is new, so it's not my OS. So I'm guessing its my TPS. And I saw in a few threads that my ECU wouldn't detect the CKS. Sooooo yea. I'm going to try and bleed the coolant system. And im also going to check the TPS. And in going to adjust the fast idle valve. Thank you.

Some progress, I believe it's what's called the EGR valve? It is located under the throttle body and it was loose so I tightened runs a bit smoother but still has surging idle at certain rpms. And the reason I say is because I do not have the rpm gauge on my cluster but it's at a low idle. And I didn't forget to bleed my coolant system. And I am still getting code 1 and 4. I also adjusted the FIV and helped a bit. It was surging rough, but now it's more smooth. And yes I still have 1 and 4.
And just to get something clear err corrected if I'm wrong but I had read in a thread saying that my ECU will not pick up that CKS?

I turned it on today and it turned on really good. High idle at cold start, not too high just normal. Then after a few seconds the idle lowered and then it was surging. It still throws codes 1 and 4.
