93 eg 4dr d15b7 sputter problem HELP
Hey guys so my 93 has a swapped d15b7. A while ago it started making this sputter like a spark didnt ignite or something. But it only sputtered if you were in a high gear at low rpms and pushing the gas kinda hard. It would always fade out after about 2k rpms. Kinda was dealing with the iacv at that point, replaced the iacv and the throttle body. It faded away after that only doing it if yoy were really pressing the gas hard. After a so cal to CO trip and running the car a little hard the problem comes back worse than ever. It was sputtering at idle non stop kinda sounded exactly like a subaru and when it drove the sputtering wouldnt stop so i replaced the spark plugs with ngk and measured them at 44. That subsided a little but its where i started where the car sputters at low rpms then fades out EXCEPT now it does it randomly At idle. This is where im confused all the air sensors and wiring should be fine I checked for vacuum leaks the throttle body is clclean, a little more closed than normal. We checked continuity in the distributor wires, OH one of my fuel injectors was leaking so being broke at the time went to a pick a part to get oem ones of the same motor. Not sure if that might have something to do with in. All in all im stumped at this point So thanks in advance and sorry for my long life story haha

Yea the spark plugs are new, the distributor wires were testing fine on a multi meter, and i popped the cap open and it looked fine honestly not 100% sure what i was looking for but it looked like everything was making good connection. I wonder if it could be an air to fuel ratio deal or maybe fuel injectors? Is there a way fuel injectors can be giving less fuel without yoy knowing it?

^ exactly. If the plugs are new then replace the plug wires, distributor cap, and distributor rotor. Also, double check your spark plug gaps as well. They should be set to .044" gap.
