I have a 93 dx, my mom was coming home from work and the car died, my mom called me so I went there to check out why the car wasnt starting up and I saw there was no enough spark getting to the spark plugs, I opened the distributor and I saw the rotor's screw lose, it fell inside the distributor breaking everything there.

After all that I bought a new distributor, installed it and triedto start the car with no luck, so I thought maybe the timing belt had jumped, I go ahead and do timing it started up but running really bad, like it cant pass 4K rpms or something, the car has no power at all, I tought i was off by tooth, so I went head and moved it one tooth foward, car got better but not enough, anyways ive moved the timing belt tooth by tooth and car still runs like crap, it has no power, I thought maybe the new distributor is bad too, changed it, did timing again and nothing!

im lining up the white mark on the crank pulley, and the cam gear with the head just as the service manual says. Its a d15b7 engine automatic.

What could be the problem? Sometimes the car wont even start.

Maybe a sensor died at the same time all this happened?

I'm getting no codes.

new timi bng belt........ sounds like it might be missing teeth on the timing belt itself
