Ok recently purchased a 1993 Dx civic 3door hatch(dream car) lol.....paid 350 for it and it runs...as well as no rust holes...light surface bubbles.....it has the d15b7....on startup the car Smokes like a bitch...if im sitting still or revving sittin still its smokes like i bitch......im thinking its the valve stem seals....but at the same time the rings....anyone have any knowledge on this and maybe recommend what to do.....and if its the valve stem seals...anyone have a write up on a Dseries valve stem replacement...or will the Bseries guide work as well.....any knowledge of this would be greatly appreciated ty

also while traveling on the high way there is no smoke visable if that helps

Can you do a compression test and give us the numbers? This will allow us to take a peek at the rings a bit.

Do that o we have a base. More then likely it is the rings and moving down the highway you just can't see the smoke.
