93 dx hatch auto to stick, difficult?
I found a deal on a 93 dx hatchback with a automatic trans and was wondering how hard it would be to change over to a 5spd while doing a engine swap. Is there anything I'm not seeing other than the obvious? (clutch pedal, cable, shifter, linkage, cable and associated brackets). and No, at this time I dont know what kind of swap I would be considering (engine or trans), I am just trying to find out about any not so obvious problems I would run into. Any clues? ..anyone.......anyone....

clutch master cylinder, hard lines, pass tranny bracket, slave clyinder, ECU, pedal assembly, shifter and linkages... that should be about it. If you are doing a swap at the same time, it will not be that much more trouble. I would find someone who has done a number of them before and talk to them.

im puting in a manual b18b into a 93 dx auto, the only other thing other then all of the above parts that were mentioned, is the hole for the manual shifter is much smaller then the auto one, also the auto has a second hole for the cable to go through, so you will have to fill thoes in and cut a smaller hole for the manual and re work some mounting points for the linkage
