I got a hair more mpg on a delsol with a D in it but I was gave it a full tune up. There's numerous things that can effect your mpg, not just the amount of air going in the car.

Even though the K&N advertisements state otherwise, you're likely to experience zero change in mpg between stock and an aftermarket intake.

Reason I ask is I hate hearing the CAI that came on my car. I have a friend who wants to trade for a stock air box

if you switch, let the car idle for about 15 minutes so the ecu resets
