Default 93 del sol hydraulic clutch problems... need urgent help.

Hello to all im new here trying to get the hang of this. Anyways i just got a 93 del sol with a d15b sohc 3 stage v-tech only problem is that the clutch pedal goes all the way down and there is no resistance idk what it is. I was thinking it was the clutch cable but it doesnt have one as far as i know it uses some sort of hydraulic system i did find it and dont know how to fix it or if that is even the problem. I made sure it had enough fluid and i still have the problem. So i cheeked to see if i could find any leaks along the fluid line and nothing. However i did seem to find some sort of oil like fluid were the clutch pedal pushes the cylinder in. Can anyone help me with this its the oly form of transportation i have and i need to fix it asap thanks.

Hondas rule =D

You did bleed the clutch line didn't you? If there is any air in the system, the pedal will be extremely mushy.

Also, if you have fluid leaking on the inside of the car near the clutch pedal, then it's probably time to replace that clutch master cylinder.

I have yet to bleed it because i recently found out it was hydraulic and i also do not know how to do that. Honestly im not very familiar with cars yet but i am learning so somethings i may not have a clue of what your talking about but i am doing reserch and stuff. So would you recomend bleeding the clutch system and if that doesnt work replacing the clutch master cylinder? By the way thanks for your help i realy apreciate it alot for i am not very familiar with my car yet.

if there is fluid leaking around the pedal the master cylinder has taken a **** on you.

replace it.

but bleed this thing first and you might be able to get around for a little while on it.

Bleed it like you would brakes. Wrench on the nipple, hose on the nipple, hose in a jar of brake fluid, open valve and pump.

They master and slave cylinders supposedly wear out about the same time. It's a DIY job and they just wear out, like brakes. So, just quit using the clutch and you won't wear it out.

Do yourself a favor and buy both now... much less trouble down the road.
