re: 93 Del Sol - A/C Killing Engine (solved)
R12 or R134a?
Did you add refrigerant to the system?
What was the ambient temp and idle speed when pressure reading were taken?
Was the condenser fan running?

R12 or R134a? 134
Did you add refrigerant to the system? Nope, but the pressure seems high
What was the ambient temp and idle speed when pressure reading were taken? Around 90f
Was the condenser fan running? Yes

re: 93 Del Sol - A/C Killing Engine (solved)
While spraying the condenser with cold water from a garden hose, how do the high and low pressure readings change with the engine held at 1500 rpm idle speed and A/C running on recirc and MAX blower speed?

re: 93 Del Sol - A/C Killing Engine (solved)
High pressure drops to 180 and the low to the mid 20's. I thought that the fan was running before, but it didn't come on while I was running the water.
