get yourself a can of carb cleaner and spray around the intake manifold where it bolts to the head, and where the throttle body bolts to manifold and spray all vacuum lines. youve got a vac leak

Re: 93 d15b7 idle problems

Hi everyone! I'm really new to the forums, and I honestly need some friendly help if anyone has some input.
I have a 93 Honda civic lx with a d15b7 motor.
A few months ago, my timing belt snapped while I was driving. When this happened I removed and resurface the head, made sure my valves were perfect, replace everything from gaskets to pullies and tensioners, plugs you name it.
You could say I got a bit lazy, and I decided to take it to the shop for finishing touches.
but ever since it came home from the mechanic it's had a weird fluctuating odle. I start the car, and it idles between 1100rpms and 2200 rpms and constantly surges up and down. I put a new iacv in, And the idle remained unchanged. I've had this idle for atleast 3 mo the and to be honest, I've driven my car with the iacv unplugged, because when it is unplugged it flutter at 1500rpms

I know it causing damage to my motor so if really like the fix this before worse problems come into play.
any response will be greatly appreciated
