Honda-Tech - Honda Forum Discussion - 93 CX wiring for b20/vtec swap, I need help!!!

I swapped a b20 vtec into my 93 cx hatch. I have a few problems such as vtec engagement will not activate. car idles high even warmed up around 1000 rpms.
My gauge cluster dim's when i tap the gas, so i must be losing power and my guess is the alternator is bad or is going bad. also ive tried the paper clip trick to check my codes and i get CEL code #6 and CEL code #21. I ended up fixing the code #6 but i am still having a problem with code #21 which is VTEC spool solenoid valve. not sure how to fix it. I am pretty sure i tapped the correct wires off my ecu harness (A4, D3 and D6).

Here is another kick, might even have u laughing, i turn on my head lights and my cd player turns off. haha so i dont know what thats all about, i didnt wire the cd player, i bought the car last week and swap the engine harness and engine into the hatch. if u can think of anything let me know asap , thanks much.
