Default 93 Civic/Y8 swap -- Will Z6 dizzy work/fit on the Y8 engine?

My 93 cx hatch has a Y8 swap. The guy used a obd1 to obd2 jumper for the dizzy. I picked up an obd 1 dizzy from a guy this evening. I went to install it and it would not line up right. It was close but not quite right. He says it was from a Z6. Now is this true that the obd 1 will not fit on an obd 2 head? Has anyone else ran into this problem?

Default Re: D series dizzy help

Z6 and Z1 (VX) will not physically fit. Any dizzy from a 92-95 D15B7 (DX) or D15B8 (CX) will bolt right up.
