Default 93 civic w/z6 swap running rich and smoking.

I was throwwing code 43 and i swapped out the fpr. The light went off but still runs way rich. I unplugged the o2 sensor and it didnt make any dif. The car is a 93 cx with a 94 d16z6 swap. It also keeps running so rich it fouls out the flugs. They are covvered in carbon and dripping with fuel.

If anyone could PLEASE help! I need to get this fixed asap!!!

If the plugs are dripping with gas then you got a bad seal somewhere in the mixup, I would say.

what ecu and o2 sensor ar you runing. The stock o2 for the d16z6 should be a 4 wire and the ecu should be a P28 if I remember

are you fouling all the plugs or just 1 or 2? I have had injectors stick open before. Is your wiring harness correct? check the wiring going to the injectors?

i think white is lean or coolant, black is rich, white with a tint of blue is oil. run the car to operating temp take a paper towel and put it 1-2 inches from the tail pipe for a min. feel if you have slippery film on the paper towel. if you do your burning coolant. if its water it would just damp the towel. is your o2 sensor new?

oh yea if the o2 is faulty it could be sending a signal to your ecu that your running lean...thus dumping more fuel into it. thats how i failed ref....

I'm pretty sure its not coolant, the car has been running and driving for a couple of weeks now and not a drop of coolant is missing. And this is the third o2 sensor. We have actaully got it to run without smoking, just runs like poop. But once it starts smoking the car runs great.
