i know the 95 teg shifter i put on my 97 civic was to skinny in the shift fork but i used a nut to take up the extra space. it worked but the shifter (ebay special) ended up breaking off in my hand.

Wrong.
The bottom of the integra shifter is about 40% wider than the civic shifter, so you have to bend the end of the linkage out to get an integra shifter to fit in a civic. I've done it, I personally don't recommend it. Get the evasivemotorsports shifter, its only $35 and it works great.

Re: 93 civic si w/ integra shifter (BauleyCivic)
I've always used DC shifters for any DC and/or EH I've had. Everytime, I was always given a spacer. I guess they made them so you could always use them on the Civic shift linkage's as well.
