Default 93 civic Si throwing cel code 41

Just recently did a powersteering/ac delete and now my buddies car is throwing a cel for code 41 primary oxygen sensor heater. I checked all fuses/relays and the plug itself and everything seems up to par. What could be the cause of this? The delete wouldn't do this would it?
